Host: Pastor Jerry Cook

Guest: Tim Traurig of Guardians SCV & Suzette Valladares, candidate for CA State Senate

Politics & The Pulpit – Tim Traurig & Suzette Valladares – June 26, 2024

Does God want a separation of church and state? Should Christians be voting for biblical principles? Does it really matter who you vote for? Join Pastor Jerry Cook as he endeavors to answer these and many other questions in the next hour on Politics and the Pulpit.

Guardians was founded in 2015 by a group of Firefighters, Military and Law Enforcement individuals who recognized the need to bring like minded individuals with similar backgrounds and experiences together to form a community of support and action. We wanted to provide a place where individuals could do life together and encourage one another to live life at their full potential.

Later on Pastor Cook welcomes former Assemblywoman Suzette Valladares who is now running for CA State Senate.

Suzette Valladares serves as Executive Director of a non-profit organization that partners with law enforcement to invest in youth. Supporting law enforcement, making our neighborhoods safer, lowering California’s high cost of living, and working to end the homeless crisis and fentanyl crisis remain her top priorities.  She was elected to the California State Assembly in 2020, serving until 2022, and was one of the founders of the bipartisan Problem Solvers Caucus.
