Total Financial Solutions Safer Money Hour With Arif Halaby – June 9, 2015
Hour 1 – For the first hour of the show Arif and Jeff spoke about making sure you look at your Retirement Checklist. They cautioned everyone to make sure that you know what your purpose will be after retirement. Many individuals retire thinking they will remodel their house or just spend their retirement doing projects around the house, what people need to realize is those tasks could take only a short period of time. Know what you want to do after you retire before you do in fact retire.

Hour 2 – For the second hour Arif and Jeff spoke about steps to take to start saving money. One big thing they recommend is to live below your means, not within but below. They suggest budgeting for 70 percent of your income which leaves the other 30 percent for emergencies, investing, etc. They also have a ton of other tips so be sure to listen to the whole show.
