The Senior Hour – Tele-Health and Supplementation– April 26, 2023
On this week’s episode of the Senior Hour, Barbara Cochran and Doctor Polucki open up the show by discussing chronic pain. Dr. Polucki opens up about the migraines he suffered from in adolescence and Barbara opens up about her emotional pain during childhood dealing with the bombing campaign in England during WWII.
Dr. Polucki then goes into detail about how he treats patients without ever meeting them in person through tele-health communication. Barbara, initially, is skeptical of how exactly he is able to go about diagnosing a patient if he doesn’t make physical contact with them. However, he explains that through examining X-rays and teaching patients how to treat pain themselves, he can treat his clients successfully without ever meeting them.
In the second half of the show, Barbara and Dr. Polucki discuss well-being and nutrition for seniors. They discuss the importance of tasks such as diet, sleep, and treating chemical imbalances. Polucki expands upon this by describing his line of supplementation; specifically- Lithium Orotate and the effects it has on those that use it. He also stresses that supplementation should be individualized to treat a person’s case and that there is no “one-size-fits all” approach.
Listen in as Barbara and Dr. Polucki discuss how different treatments yield different results for the wellbeing of our senior citizens.
