Jeff dives into the topic of how pulling out a student loan for your children while you have your own student loans to pay can an horrible effect on your finical future. Arif says that the government is the first line to take your money after your death.
Hour 2 – Hour two of the Total Solutions Safer Money Hour, Arif Halaby and Jeff Jared bring up the topic of IRAs and the misconceptions of having one. Jared explains how to switch money into different accounts and not getting taxed on it. Arif tells Jeff what are all the things you need to watch out for when opening an IRA account. Arif and Jeff discuss all the fees you may receive having a retirement account. Arif explains how to take your 401K from your old employer. Arif and Jeff also bring up the topic of signing over your benefits to your new spouse.
