On today’s show hosts Alex Urbina and Jazmine Urbina sit down and discuss why kids need a present father in their life. A male role model is important in the growth. It can be real damaging to a young child especially a young male if they have an absent father, Alex said.
It is important to have both parents in a child’s life, Jazmine said. It often is said when a single parent is present they conform to the other role more dominantly. If there is a single woman often they forget how to also bring that feminine side and be more of a traditional male role and the same for the single father dynamic.
What are some of the prices kids are paying for for not having a father in the picture?
And having a father in the house doesn’t mean they are in the child’s life. They can be in the house and in the picture but totally be unconscious about the kids and not be present fully.
That hurts the child, often the child takes on a role or way of thinking that they do not matter, and that if they did the father would be in their life more if at all, Alex said.
