Remember Old Glory, the displaced Oak Tree in Pico Canyon? Now comes info on the Old Glory Reunion Rally.

Remember Old Glory, the displaced Oak Tree in Pico Canyon? Now comes info on the Old Glory Reunion Rally.

As you may have heard in the media, the fires in Stevenson Ranch came to within a tenth of a mile of Old Glory- but thanks to the heroic efforts of the firefighters, we are happy to report that Old Glory and the houses in the community are still standing.

Out of concern for the trauma the community has faced, the Old Glory Reunion Rally will be postponed to Saturday, Nov. 15 at 1 pm. For more info about the Rally, you may call John Quigley at 310-927-3013.

Directions: Take the Pico Canyon exit from I-5. Go west about 3 miles. Turn left where the road is blocked by the fence. Take the first right, and then the second right on Whispering Pines Drive.

Park in the neighborhood and walk to the tree.
