A SigAlert has been issued for the 5 Freeway in Santa Clarita after a big rig full of paper products overturned.
Around 7:20 a.m. first responders received reports of a big rig that overturned on the northbound 5 Freeway near Highway 126 in Valencia, said Eric Priessman, a spokesperson for the California Highway Patrol Newhall Area Office.
“It was property damage only, there were no injuries,” Priessman said.
A SigAlert has been issued for the No. 4 lane and the on-ramp to the northbound 5 Freeway from the 126, according to Priesman.
The 5 Freeway SigAlert is expected to be in place for approximately two hours.
