Congratulations to Stephen Mercier from Santa Clarita Christian School for being selected as a Lockheed Federal Credit Union, “Player of the Week.”

Mercier came up with a big game in just over one quarter of play against Antelope Valley Christian on Saturday.

The senior quarterback was 3-of-6 for 98 yards and two touchdowns, while added 125 yards and four more touchdowns on nine carries.

Defensively, Mercier intercepted a pass and recovered a fumble to help the Cardinals raise their record to 3-1.

For his production, Lockheed Federal Credit Union will donate $250 to the Santa Clarita Christian Booster Club.

Congratulations Stephen from Lockheed Federal Credit Union, The Santa Clarita Valley Signal, and AM-1220, KHTS.
