The Antelope Valley rodeo, craft fair and flea market is expected to return for the ninth consecutive year, hosting a variety of festivities for attendees, officials said.
In partnership with the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (RAM PRCA) and the Antelope Valley Fair and Event Center, the festival is set to take place on Oct. 4 through 6.
“It is an honor to once again bring California’s best rodeo professionals and the top animal ‘athletes’ to the Antelope Valley,” said Johnny Zamrzla, PRCA California circuit committee chairman. “This is going to be a fantastic fall weekend. (It’s) a great venue and great events.”
Guests can participate in numerous dance and music events, as well as a special “Ride for the Pink” fundraiser to benefit breast cancer research.
Tickets for the rodeo start at $25 for Friday and Saturday and $6 for Sunday, with varying events scheduled to take place on different days.
Active, retired and former military men and women and their dependents receive free admission, which will be available at the box office on Friday evening only in honor of Patriot Day, according to officials.
The event is located at the H.W. Hunter Pavillion at 2551 West Avenue in Lancaster.
