Three attempted robbery suspects remain at large after they were allegedly unsuccessful in stealing phones from the Stevenson Ranch AT&T store Wednesday.   

Around 3:10 p.m. Wednesday, deputies responded to a robbery at the AT&T store on the 24900 block of Pico Canyon Road in Stevenson Ranch, said Deputy Natalie Arriaga, spokesperson for the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.  

“Three male Black adults in all-black clothing and ski masks attempted to take cell phones, however, were unable to do so due to the timers,” Arriaga said.  

The attempted robbery suspects entered a silver Mercedes sedan, and fled southbound on The Old Road, according to officials. 

“No weapons were displayed during the incident,” Arriaga said. “The suspects remain outstanding at this time.”  

This is just one of several cellphone theft incidents SCV Sheriff’s detectives are investigating. 

Last week, over 30 iPhones were stolen from the Verizon Store on Golden Valley Road, followed by another robbery at the Valencia AT&T  store.

As of Thursday, all three cell phone robberies are being investigated separately, according to Arriaga.
