Deputies arrested a man accused of driving a stolen car Friday morning, near the Lily of the Valley mobile home park in Saugus.

The traffic stop took place near the park.

Sheriff’s Station deputies contacted the driver after learning the vehicle was reported stolen. Deputies are still investigating the circumstances surrounding the reported theft; however, while conducting a traffic stop, deputies also reported finding narcotics.

The driver matched the description of the person who was reported as the theft suspect in the stolen vehicle report.

The driver’s identity has not been revealed at this time; however, he is expected to be booked at the Sheriff’s Station on charges connected to the incident.

The investigation on scene was still taking place as of 11 a.m., and more information will be posted as it becomes available.
