Bowman High School students, teachers and administrators honored graduates and past staff who have gone on to lead successful lives or have a positive impact on the Bowman community Tuesday.
Located off of Centre Pointe Parkway in Santa Clarita, Bowman High first opened its doors in 1969, and has served thousands of students and faculty over its 50 years of existence.
“Bowman is a special alternative high school that has impacted so many in our community,” said Principal Eran Zeevi. “We are so proud to honor all the extraordinary people that have attended or worked at Bowman High School over the past 50 years.”

The school showcased an assortment of art displays, student showcases, old yearbooks, souvenirs and food trucks, according to officials.
The 50th anniversary celebration also served as an open house, where those in attendance heard speeches from district officials and former faculty, as well as students.
Guests were then free to mingle and explore the campus, which included the brand new STEM lab and culinary center.
