A child was airlifted out of Valencia Tuesday evening following a report about a youth that was possibly not breathing, according to officials.
“There was a report of a child that was in the water, unknown that they were breathing,” said Michael Pittman, Los Angeles Fire Department supervising fire dispatcher.
At around 6 p.m. Tuesday evening, Los Angeles County Fire Department officials responded to a call of a child in water that was possibly not breathing on the 24000 block of Calle Terraza, Valencia, according to LACoFD officials.
“The child was breathing as they (officials) arrived.” Pittman said. “But they did decide to fly the child to a pediatric hospital.”
