A Santa Clarita church is inviting residents of all ages to attend their regular services in Newhall both on Sundays and Wednesday evenings, officials said.

Elevate Church staff hope to give attendees practical principles for daily living through their teachings, and they “are passionate about seeing people connect with God in a real way through a relationship with Jesus Christ,” according to the website.

The Santa Clarita church has two leading pastors that deliver sermons: Virginia and Mauricio Ruiz.

The Ruizs are dedicated to reminding people of God’s love for them, and are driven by their passion to “help men and women rise up” and “experience God in a real way,” the website states.

Elevate Church aims to bring Santa Clarita Valley residents’ Bible teachings that carry messages full of hope and faith, according to officials.

The church lists its congregation’s values as faith, love, life, creativity and teamwork, and holds the belief that, “We is better than me,” officials said.

In addition to attending services, Elevate Church has a variety of positions available for volunteer opportunities, including artists, teachers, baristas, parking greeters, ushers and more, according to the website.

Services are held at Elevate Church in Santa Clarita on Wednesdays at 7 p.m. and Sundays at 8 a.m., 10 a.m., and 12 p.m. To connect and learn more about being a newcomer, seeking prayer or becoming a volunteer at Elevate Church, click here.
