Santa Clarita Sheriff’s responded to a home burglary in Castaic Friday night, where a burglar reportedly stole several firearms.

The initial call came in at approximately 9:30 p.m. Friday, said Sgt. Brian Hudson with the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.
“Evidently it was a residential burglary, during which serval firearms were stolen,” said Hudson “There was evidence that forced entry was made into the home.”
The burglar made off with more than one of Castaic homeowner’s weapons. However, law enforcement have yet to release the details of type of weapon or exact quantity.
The incident is still under investigation. Anyone in with information concerning this crime is urged to call the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station at 661-255-1121.
