Guardians of Santa Clarita Valley is set to host a first responder documentary and dinner night in February for supporters, veterans and first responders.
Guardians SCV is a nonprofit organization which was started in 2015 by Tim Traurig to provide veterans and first responders with support and resources for individuals and their families.
In the past the organization has hosted barbecue nights and car shows, as well as a special car show and breakfast each year on the anniversary of Sept. 11.
On Feb. 10 the organization is set to host a documentary and dinner night in the Higher Vision Church auditorium. The night is the joint efforts of Guardians SCV and Exclusively First Responders.
The documentary scheduled to be viewed is “PTSD911,” a “powerful story of the real-life emotional trauma suffered by first responders, the suicided crisis as a result and the need for meaningful help and support for these heroes,” Guardians officials said.
The event is set to begin at 6 p.m. and is free to all veterans, first responders and their spouses.
Tickets are available here.
