Andrew Flanigan, 45, of Arleta has been charged with hit-and-run driving and other counts stemming from his alleged role in a road rage confrontation last June.

The incident went viral after a phone video surfaced showing a high-speed fight between the driver of an orange motorcycle and the driver of a silver sedan driving on SR-14 near the Newhall Avenue on-ramp.

The motorcyclist kicked the car, starting a chain of crashes that caused a truck driving nearby to roll over, injuring the driver.

Flanigan was booked on $110,000 bail for three felony charges, felony assault with a deadly weapon, felony reckless driving, and felony hit and run.

He is expected to return to court on Aug. 7.
