Bests and Worsts of 2017

This game is played by going around in a circle and writing down or saying the best and worst parts of 2017. You can start by naming categories and everyone has to say their bests—like best movie or best trends— and then their worsts. This game is a great way to learn about those around you and also remember 2017.

Guess the Month

Guess the month is a fun way to test your memory and enjoy the evening with friends. You play this game by having a list of different events that took place this year. Then each person has to guess what month that event occurred. You could choose events that are well known or events that are more personal and relate to your group of friends.

Champagne Race

Champagne race is a fun relay race where you can have guests get into small groups. These groups are given some kind of drink, or small item, they have to put into an empty champagne flute. The twist on this game is that you can only use a spoon to fill the flute once, and then you have to pass the spoon to your teammates. The first team to fill the flute wins the game.

Two Resolutions and a Lie

This game is similar to Two Truths and a Lie, except it is New Year’s themed. Each guest has to say three resolutions, and while two of them are real resolutions, one of them is a fake resolution. Everyone then has to try and figure out what resolutions are true and which ones are the lies.
