O.J. Simpson is out on the streets while the Goldman family, who resides in Santa Clarita, deals with the personal repercussions of his early release from prison.

Citing the ongoing public interest in the former National Football League (NFL) running back and actor acquitted in the murders of Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend, Ron Goldman, sister Kim Goldman says she and her family are aware of the interest in Simpson but are trying to live a life as unaffected as possible by his actions.
Simpson’s early parole release the morning of Oct. 1 was largely overshadowed by the Las Vegas shooting massacre that gripped the nation later that evening.
Shortly after his release, Simpson set up residence in Las Vegas — the same town where he committed the crime that resulted in his being locked up.
It didn’t take long for Simpson to attract attention, the most recent incident being Thursday, where Simpson was issued a trespass notice and banned from re-entering the Cosmopolitan Hotel in Las Vegas. The facts leading up to the reason for the ban are unclear.
Now that Simpson is out on the streets and in the news, life for the Goldman family has in fact changed.
When asked about the impact that Simpson’s freedom is having on her family, Kim Goldman, sister of homicide victim Ron Goldman, said they are experiencing some heightened anxiety because of Simpson’s ability to command ongoing media attention.
According to Goldman, the hotel incident added more fuel to the public’s interest and, as a result, more questions for the family.

“All eyes are on him and he is a celebrity so to speak; so people pay attention to what he is doing,” said Goldman. “The worst part is I just get bombarded all day with comments about it and that’s the harder part, I guess. [The hotel incident] is kind of laughable to me.”
When asked if she does anything different in her day-to-day life now that Simpson is out on parole, Goldman said she doesn’t allow thoughts of Simpson to take up much of her time or energy.
Goldman — a longtime resident of the Santa Clarita Valley — is plenty busy being the executive director of the SCV Youth Project, a radio talk show host and a best-selling author.
“I’m trying to just live a productive life without him being the focus of it,” says Goldman. “My dad and I are continuing to pursue the civil judgement but other than that there’s really nothing.”

She would never be a “Best Sellling Author” if it was not for OJ Simpson……
I am sure she would rather NOT be a “Best Selling Author” and have her brother back.
Duh
Murderer OJ Simpson belongs behind bars! He murdered two people and walked free. He should never have been released early from prison. He is a liar and trouble maker. Isn’t being in a bar and drinking alcohol a violation of parole? Any other person would have been taken back to prison. Why is he special? Every time I see a picture of him smiling with his arm around a dim witted female I want to strangle him. Die!
