One person was extricated from a vehicle early Monday morning after a Canyon Country crash, officials said.

The traffic collision was reported at about 4:30 a.m. Monday near Whites Canyon Road and Delight Street in Canyon Country, according to Inspector Brian Stevens with the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

“There were two vehicles involved,” Stevens said.

Upon arrival, firefighters found a person trapped inside one of the vehicles and requested additional resources, according to Stevens.

The victim was freed from the vehicle about 45 minutes later, fire officials said.

One person was transported to a local hospital in unknown condition, according to fire officials.
