The restaurant is scheduled to open the second week of January, most likely by Jan. 8, according to Greg Morin.
The restaurant has been in business since two brothers, Jeff and Ken Schuberg, opened their first location in Camarillo in 1995.
Presto Pasta’s menu ranges from pastas and pizzas to salads and subs, all prepared with fresh ingredients at a low price. They are well known for their Parmigiana meals, with a choice of chicken, shrimp, or eggplant.
Aside from a wide ranged menu, the restaurant offers a sit-in option, to-go option, and catering that handles ten to five hundred people for a variety of occasions.
Presto’s great delight is their local charity work, where they partner with schools and charities to donate 20 percent of their profits during fundraising events.
The Valencia location will be under the experienced management of Greg Morin, a Santa Clarita resident with over 30 years of restaurant experience, who was formerly a partner at Marie Callender’s of Valencia.
Isidro Calles, the 16-year kitchen manager who opened both the Newbury Park and Granada Hills stores, will be at the Valencia location, as well.
This restaurant will be on the way to Six Flags Magic Mountain, in the River Oaks Shopping Center. Its accessibility to local colleges like College of the Canyons and CalArts make it a convenient stop for students looking for affordable, traditional Italian food.
The family-owned and operated establishment has been recognized by Daily News readers from 2014-16 for the Readers Choice Best Italian Cuisine.
