Santa Clarita Beach Bus To Return This Summer

The City of Santa Clarita is excited to announce the return of Santa Clarita Transit’s popular Beach Bus service, offering convenient transportation to Ventura Harbor on Saturdays and Sundays.

Starting on Saturday, May 31, and operating every Saturday and Sunday until August 31st, the Beach Bus is an easy and stress-free way to get you, your friends, and your family to Ventura for a fun day of sun and other local activities.

Travelers are welcome to bring chairs, coolers, and surf boards to enjoy on their day trip to Ventura Harbor, where they can enjoy a variety of shops, foods, Harbor Cove Beach, the Visitor Center at Channel Islands National Park, the Ventura Yacht Club, and the sounds of Seaside Live Music, which play from 1 to 4 every Saturday and Sunday.

Beach Bus fares are $3.50 each way for children and adults and $1.75 each way for

Senior Citizens and persons with disabilities.

Riders may use credit through their Token Transit mobile app and TAP cards, but monthly passes will not be accepted. 

Buses will depart from the Via Princessa Metrolink Station (19201 Via Princessa) and the McBean Regional Transit Center (24375 Valencia Boulevard). 

The Via Princessa Metrolink Station will depart at 8:22 a.m. and return at 5:53 p.m. 

The McBean Regional Transit Center will depart at 8:40 a.m. and return at 5:35 p.m. 

Travelers will arrive at Ventura Harbor (1960 Spinnaker Drive) at 10 a.m. and depart back to Santa Clarita at 4:30 p.m.
