Santa Clarita Detectives Seek Two Suspects For Stealing Woman’s Wallet, Using Credit Cards

Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station detectives are seeking to identify individuals suspected of stealing a wallet from a woman’s purse and fraudulently using her credit cards.

Around 3:50 p.m. on March 2, the victim reported that her wallet was stolen out of her purse while she was dining at a restaurant located on the 19100 block of Golden Valley Road, according to officials.

“She told deputies that immediately after the incident, she began receiving notifications from her bank regarding fraudulent transactions,” said Shirley Miller, spokesperson for the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.

A second suspect, who was captured on surveillance video, used a credit card taken from the victim’s stolen wallet to allegedly purchase over $2,000 in gift cards at a local store, according to Miller.

If anyone has any information about the identity of any of the individuals pictured, contact Detective Rubalcava at (661) 255-1121 ext. 5151.
