If you’re a resident in the Santa Clarita Valley and ever thought “where do I go to eat? I want to try something new!” You’re not alone. Introducing a new webisode series called “Santa Clarita Eats” with host Barry McKeever from McKeever Realty and host of High School Football and ‘The Rock’ on KHTS, will be aired through the Santa Clarita Eats Facebook page. With the quantity of restaurants available in Santa Clarita, sometimes it’s hard to select a place to eat.

Santa Clarita Eats episodes will take the viewers behind the scenes on how our local food establishments make their food and deliver it to our table. A “mini-Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives here in Santa Clarita, featuring only Santa Clarita area restaurants”, McKeever said.

Each episode will feature what makes the restaurant unique, cool facts, a history into the restaurant, their menu inspirations and a wide variety of other topics. The show will feature small, family-owned and chain restaurants.

“I couldn’t be more excited about this. I’ve always loved food, we didn’t go out that much, but we always had big meals,” McKeever said.

Barry McKeever, a Hall of Famer in athletics in the Escondido County, and now practicing real estate in Santa Clarita for the last 20 years which recently launched its new website, got his inspiration for the webisodes from his love for food.

I’m a foodie kind of guy…I’ve always wanted to do this…How can I do something that’s cool on Facebook, McKeever said.

McKeever noticed other Facebook users posting 2-3 minute videos on restaurant reviews. McKeever will be taking the steps to take a passion for food and bring it to light for our Santa Clarita residents.
