Russell Westbrook recorded his 41st triple-double of the season, tying Oscar Robertson’s record set in the 61′-62′ season.

Tuesday’s scoreboard:

Ryan Lemmon Invitational

The West Ranch/Valencia baseball rivalry will take an exciting turn this season with a tournament finals matchup, a week removed from a 3-2 Wildcats victory in the Foothill League Tournament.

The West Side Rivalry resumes tonight at 7 pm.

Woodbridge 3

7 West Ranch 6

It’s now been a full 30 days since the Wildcats’ last loss. West Ranch has done it with excellent pitching, defense and clutch hitting, outscoring opponents 76-24 in the eleven-game winning streak.

Golden Valley 3

The Vikings overwhelmed the Grizzlies with their potent offense to set up the finals rivalry with West Ranch. They’ve scored 23 runs against GV in two games.

Canyon (Anaheim Hills) 1

Saugus 3

Saugus defeated Canyon and improved to 6-12. Brandyn Cruz provided the offense, going 2-for-3 with a triple and three RBI.

Villa Park 6

The Cowboys were no-hit by Villa Park.

COC Athletics

Fielding errors plagued the Canyons Cougars (17-10, 10-2) in a 6-3 upset at home by Antelope Valley, their second conference loss. Game 2 is Thursday at Antelope Valley.

Cougars Softball got back on a track by pummeling LA Valley 11-6 and 14-0 in a double-header yesterday. Danielle Chatman was blistering at the plate, going 5-for-6 with five runs scored and ten RBI in the series. Canyons is 23-6-1 and 9-2 in WSC play.

Los Angeles Dodgers

Last night’s 4-0 shutout loss was a reminder of just how long a Major League Baseball season is.

The rubber match with the Padres is tonight at Dodger Stadium. First pitch is at 7:10 with Rich Hill on the mound for LA.
