A Saugus structure fire Friday afternoon prompted a response from firefighters, officials said.

On Friday around 3:05 p.m., firefighters received reports of a garage fire in the 28000 block of Ricki Court in Saugus, said Marvin Lim, a spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

“Units called knockdown on the fire at 3:21,” Lim said.

Crews remained at the scene for a brief time to make sure no fire or smoke spread to other parts of the structure, according to officials.

No injuries were reported as a result of the incident, according to Fire officials.
