Two separate emergency airlift rescues were carried out in Valencia Friday evening, according to officials.

Around 4:45 p.m. Friday, reports of a child near drowning in the Bridgeport neighborhood of Valencia were received. After first responders arrived on scene, a helicopter was requested, according Los Angeles County Fire Department officials.

Another air rescue occurred approximately an hour later in the parking area of Six Flags Magic Mountain. The airlift was requested for an unconscious person in the area, said officials.

The current condition of both victims is unknown as of Friday evening.
