The incident was reported around 6:40 p.m. for an expanded traffic collision where there were possible parties trapped, however upon arrival to the scene, no one was trapped, according to Michael Pittman with the Los Angeles Fire Department.
“One person was transferred to a local hospital,” Pittman said.
The condition of the victim is unknown, according to fire officials.
The vehicle, described as a gray pick up truck, crashed off the side of the southbound 5 Freeway onto Highway 14, according to the California Highway Patrol.
