Adopt Major, a sweet pup from the Castaic Animal Care Center, ready for a forever home with a loving family.

At the beginning of August Major arrived at the Castaic Animal Care Center and is looking for a forever family.

“Major is affectionate but not needy,” said officials with the Castaic Animal Care Center.

Major is a 3-year-old, 65 pound, German Shepherd Mix who is available for adoption and ready to find a forever home and family.

Major loves to sniff and swim in the pool, according to officials with the Castaic Animal Care Center.

After being returned, Major was evaluated with other dogs in the playgroup and found to get along with calm dogs.

Those interested in meeting Major ( #A5643815)  can visit during open hours Monday through Saturday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
