Adopt Lucy Lu, a sweet pup from the Castaic Animal Care Center, ready for a forever home with a loving family.

In October, Lucy Lu arrived at the Castaic Animal Care Center who was surrendered by her own family.

“She was a little shy at first but when taken out to the play yard she had some time to decompress. She just wanted to be close and follow me around,” said officials with the Castaic Animal Care Center.

Lucy Lu is listed as a 2-year-old, 63 pound, female Border Collie who is available for adoption and ready to find a forever home and family.

Lucy Lu was assessed by the behaviour team and was found to get along with calm dogs, according to officials with the Castaic Animal Care Center.

“She is looking for a kind family that will show her all the assurance and love she deserves,” said officials with the Castaic Animal Care Center.

Those interested in meeting Lucy Lu (#A5658494) can visit during open hours Monday through Saturday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
