The Santa Clarita Master Chorale announced its 25th anniversary season and is set to present beloved favorites of the Chorale at upcoming concerts in December, March and June.

To celebrate 25 years of bringing fine choral music to our community, the Master Chorale is expected to be presenting beloved favorites of the Chorale at concerts in December, March and June, according to officials.

The holiday concert, “Silver Bell Jubilee,” is scheduled for Sunday, Dec. 8, 2024 at 4 p.m. at the Santa Clarita Performing Arts Center at College of the Canyons, located at 26455 Rockwell Canyon Road, Valencia, CA.

“Whether you’re reminiscing about happy holiday times or establishing new traditions, our winter concert offers a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the season with loved ones,” event organizers said. “We will kick off our Silver Anniversary season by presenting beloved holiday selections from the last 25 years such as Stroope’s Hodie, Lauridsen’s O Nata Lux, Whitacre’s Lux Arumque, and of course The Heart of Christmas by our dear friend Jan Sanborn.”

This remarkable event is guaranteed to warm your heart and lift your mood with a sparkling selection of timeless favorites and modern holiday songs.

“A musical concert with choir and instruments is what really brings the spirit to the holiday season,” said Allan Robert Petker, the artistic director.

Secondly, the Chorale will be hosting its eighth annual Messiah Sing-Along Monday, Dec. 9 at 7 p.m. at Valencia United Methodist Church, located at 25718 McBean Parkway, Santa Clarita, CA. “As we celebrate our silver anniversary, we are proud to be featuring soloists from the Chorale,” event organizers said.

Admission for the Messiah Sing-Along is free, but donations are welcome. Tickets for both events, as well as season ticket packages, can be found here.

Established in 1998, the Santa Clarita Master Chorale promotes fine choral music through our yearly concert series, educational enrichment programs and involvement in community-based arts platforms.

The Chorale performs works selected from a wide range of choral repertoire to the delight of audience members of all ages.
