The cast and crew of Are You Sleeping Productions are set to be seen on Wednesday, Dec. 5 from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. at the Way Station, located at 24377 Main Street in Newhall.

Crew vehicles are planning to park in the nearby City-owned structure on levels five and six, but the structure will also remain open for public use.

Meanwhile, the crew will be setting up camp at the lot on 6th Street and Main Street, according to officials.

The cast is scheduled to have interior and exterior dialogue at the site as cast members walk along the 9th Street sidewalk, according to production officials.

A mock surveillance van will also be parked along 9th Street and greenery will be placed in landscaping along Main Street, according to officials.

A lane closure will also be in effect, with traffic control on 9th Street between Main Street and Walnut Street.

Production officials encourage drivers to avoid “no parking” signs during the duration of filming on portions of 9th Street and Walnut Street.

The second filming location, The Old Town Junction, is planning on providing their location as an establishing shot for a film with Open 4 Business Productions.

Filming for this production is scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 6 from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Those visiting the area are expected to see gear on the sidewalk and curb, as well as a few parking restrictions, according to officials.

“No parking” signs will be placed along parts of Market Street, Main Street, Newhall Avenue and Walnut Street from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The nearby Bus Stop 17253 on Market Street and Walnut Street is also scheduled to be closed during the “no parking” hours.

“We have signs up directing people to the Newhall Metrolink Station,” said Evan Thomason with the City of Santa Clarita.
