Van Swearingen decided to share her “beauty power” secrets by writing her book, “It’s Not Over Yet – Reclaiming your REAL Beauty Power in your 40s, 50s and Beyond!

“I’ve been that invisible woman, when I was in my 40s, that I thought my time was over,” she said. “But I learned that it’s not over yet and I want every woman to embrace her authentic beauty. It’s not about facelifts or liposuction; it’s about using what you have and enhancing your own ‘Beauty Power.’”

Van Swearingen has over 25 years of experience in the cosmetics field, and is the originator of Studio Essentials cosmetic line.

“I’ve worked with women from different age ranges, different ethnicities, with different styles, types, and textures,” Van Swearingen said. “I’ve come up with a brand new mini kit for all women.”

The four item mini kit includes a tinted primer to be used instead of a foundation.

“It really illuminates and reveals the skin,” Van Swearingen said.

The kit also includes a eye area highlighter called “Picture Perfect”, that helps lift the eye area and brings out the cheekbones, Van Swearingen said.

“The eye area highlighter really helps take the tired look away,” Van Swearingen said. “We’re all tired, but we don’t want to look tired!”

These products are great at making you look like you’ve had a full nights sleep, Van Swearingen said.

The third item in Van Swearingen’s kit is a bronzer type item and the fourth and final item is a beautiful lip color.

“As women, we’re busy, and we don’t always have the luxury of time,” Van Swearingen said, “we need to pull ourselves together in just a few minutes.”

Products like this help women to quickly put their face together and look amazing, Van Swearingen said.

About “It’s Not Over Yet”

Van Swearingen decided to share her “beauty power” secrets by writing “It’s Not Over Yet – Reclaiming your REAL Beauty Power in your 40s, 50s and Beyond!”

“I would say that my life’s work has been to bring out the total beauty in every woman with whom I have worked,” she said. “I truly love my job and have never tired of it. I also know a thing or two about growing up a pretty, vivacious blonde, and being content with it, taking it for granted, then seeing my beauty power slipping away after childbirth, weight gain and aging. People treated me differently. In my business, doors didn’t open as easily as before.”

Van Swearingen said women don’t need to get a facelift or endure other cosmetic procedures to reclaim their “beauty power.”

“I’ve been that invisible woman, when I was in my 40s, that I thought my time was over,” she said. “But I learned that it’s not over yet and I want every woman to embrace her authentic beauty. It’s not about facelifts or liposuction; it’s about using what you have and enhancing your own ‘Beauty Power.’”KHTS AM 1220 - Santa Clarita Radio
