One person was taken to the hospital Wednesday after being struck by a vehicle in Canyon Country, officials said.

Around 1:35 p.m., first responders received reports of a traffic collision on the 17500 block of Harris Way in Canyon Country, said Marvin Lim, a spokesperson with the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

“One person was transported to the hospital,” Lim said.

Deputies are also investigating a possible domestic violence call in the same area; however, officials cannot confirm if the two incidents are related, said Lt. Ethan Marquez with the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.

The condition of the patient is unknown as of Wednesday afternoon, according to Fire officials.
