The Los Angeles County Fire Department received a call at approximately 8:04 p.m. about a downed plane on Lake Hughes Road at Maxwell Motorway, said LACoFD Supervisor Miguel Ornelas.

Two people, both in their 70’s, were on board the plane and their injuries are being reported as minor, said Ornelas.

The plane went down off of a dirt road, which was originally reported as inaccessible terrain, however because the motorway was washed out, according to Ornelas, units had to use an alternate route to access the plane.
