A two-vehicle traffic collision, named the “Dulce Incident,” on the 14 freeway resulted in several minor injuries Saturday afternoon. 

Around 3:15 p.m., firefighters received reports of a traffic collision with possible entrapment off the 14 freeway between the Escondido Canyon Road and Agua Dulce Canyon Road exits, officials said.

“It was initially reported as two vehicles overturned,” said Melanie Flores, Supervising Fire Dispatcher with the Los Angeles County Fire Department. “There was no trap.”

When officials arrived on scene they found six people with minor injuries. 

“We canceled the copter and no paramedic squad is showing as transporting,” Flores said.
