Sisley’s Italian Kitchen, a Santa Clarita staple located near Town Center Drive, may be shutting down. Or it may be under repair after a burst pipe. It’s not clear which.

Santa Clarita foodies are still in the dark several days after a note was placed on the local restaurant’s door telling potential customers that they were undergoing repairs after a pipe had burst, causing water damage to large portions of the building.
The restaurant, after nearly 30 years as the answer to Santa Clarita’s Italian food cravings, had recently completed major renovations, modernizing both the dining areas and the kitchen in the back.
However, as Santa Clarita residents began posting about the temporary closure on Facebook, an Instagram post from Sisley’s account seemed to indicate the closure would be more permanent.
“We’re saddened to announce, that after 25 years of being a part of the Santa Clarita community, Sisley’s Italian Kitchen is closing,” the post read.
The post, seemingly authored by owners Jamie and Francine Alba, said they fought “tooth and nail” to keep the restaurant open.
But quickly after the statement was posted Tuesday, it was taken down, and has yet to reappear.
If the Valencia location is closing, it will be the latest in a series of Sisley’s Italian Kitchen shutterings. Locations in Sherman Oaks, Rancho Park and Thousand Oaks have all reportedly shut down.
Multiple attempts by KHTS to contact the restaurant’s owners have not been returned.

I hope Sisley’s will remain open….Perhaps people were happier with the old Sisley’s where it felt more like home, but I hope Santa Clarita will give the new Sisley a chance.
