While many competitors don’t offer a lot of options when it comes to the products they carry, Norb Moniz of A Royal Suite said his customers can completely customize their order at around the same cost as the standard furniture available at other stores.
“We have a simple philosophy around the store: it’s simply yes,” Moniz said. “When you hear the word custom, you assume expensive, (but) our custom furniture is the price of everybody else’s. The difference is, instead of walking in your typical furniture store nowadays … (and) you ask the salesperson can I get that in another color, their first response is no, that’s it– you’ll never hear no in our stores.”
A Royal Suite customers can choose from hundreds of fabrics and place it on the sofa or chair of their choice, alter the shape of the arms, make the cushions softer or firmer, change the size of the piece, turn a standard chair into a reclining one and much more, according to Moniz.
“We take a lot of pride in what we do,” he said. “Just about anything you want, we have the capabilities of doing. You’ll never walk into our store and be told no. Every angle, every opportunity, every wall we can do.”
When it comes to wood finishes, A Royal Suite customers can also customize the finish of their dining room table, coffee table, end table and more to match their living room, dining room or bedroom.

“We are different,” Moniz said. “You don’t have to be satisfied with going into some of the larger furniture retailers and be told how you’re going to spend your money. We allow you to spend your money with A Royal Suite the way you want to spend your money, to get the product that you want.”
