Lindahl Lucas, CEO and president of Lucas Insurance, talked about his commitment to the Santa Clarita Valley and how he gives back to the community during a recent appearance on KHTS AM-1220.

“I firmly believe that if you are successful in a community, you have a responsibility,” Lucas says, “to help the community, to give back.”
Lucas opened his insurance agency in 1989, and ever since he’s strived to be a helpful leader in the community with his Santa Clarita insurance agents, as well as charity donations.

“There’s so many different charities that I do help with,” Lucas says. “That’s my goal, to give back to the community that’s given me so much.”
Lucas recently helped generate funds so Real Life Church could obtain shower trailers for the homeless. With the assistance of friends and business owners, he was able to accomplish his goal.
“I helped generate funds for Real Life Church,” Lucas says. “They’ve been (very) supportive of me.”
In the same way, Lucas strives to help his clients understand their insurance, knowing some may be confused about the ins and outs of their policies.
“Most of the time, the clients that I meet are a little confused about insurance,” he says. “I take my time and explain it to them.”
Lucas also noted he makes every effort to “hold their hands” during any insurance incidents, and walk them through the process with the claims adjuster provided.
“I feel (that’s) the cornerstone of what an insurance agent needs to be for his clients,” Lucas says.
