“We have basically everything from signs to printing, so when they come to the shop it’s a one-stop shop,” said Vice President David Hoyos, who co-owns Feathers with his father, Jose Hoyos, and brother, Alejandro Hoyos.

Illuminated LED storefront signs available at Feathers can help draw customers into your business after it gets dark, which happens much earlier after the recent “fall back” daylight saving time change.

“A lot of it depends on the type of business, but most of the businesses do operation until 7 or 8 (p.m.), so by that time it’s already getting dark,” Hoyos said. “So it’s good to have a light-up sign for those times.”

Brand new businesses in Santa Clarita can go to Feathers for industrial signs ranging from directional signs, monument signs, warning signs, non-smoking signs, parking signs and more.

“When a company comes into town, they come to a shell and they want all their signs done,” Hoyos said.

Also available at Feathers are real estate signs, including listing signs that hang from poles in front of homes for sale, yard signs, open house signs or signs for commercial properties for sale. These signs can even be illuminated at night using solar power.

“(Regular signs) are really nice during the day, but at nighttime they can’t see what houses are selling, so they can have lights on it, either timer or sensors,” Hoyos said.

When creating signs for their businesses, customers can sit down with an in-house graphic designer and work with logos or ideas to create renders of what the sign would like it before it’s ordered.
