Castaic Education Foundation Welcome Wagon To Deliver Frozen Treats To Students  

The Castaic Education Foundation Welcome Wagon is expected to tour the Castaic community to visit with students and their families to help bring school spirit to students. 

Principals, administrators and Board members are set to go out into neighborhoods and give the kids of Castaic a frozen treat, as they prepare for the first day of school on Aug. 10.  

“We are very grateful for the community support we receive and are always looking for new and creative ways to show our appreciation,” said Steve Doyle, superintendent for the Castaic Union School District.

Starting Wednesday, school staff are set to tour the community and hand out frozen treats to welcome students back to school.

On Wednesday, Aug. 4 students can pay a visit to the schools at: 

  • Paradise Ranch by the Clubhouse/Pool at 9:30 a.m. 
  • Violin Canyon at 10:15 a.m. 
  • Del Valle Park on Sloan Canyon Road at 10:40 a.m. 
  • Yosemite Drive, North Side of Hillcrest at 11:10 a.m.

 

On Friday, Aug. 6, school staff are scheduled to be at: 

  • Val Verde Community Regional Park at 1:10 p.m. 
  • Hasley Canyon Park at 1:40 p.m.
