GoFundMe Started After 10-Year-Old Santa Clarita Girl Dies Unexpectedly

A GoFundMe has been launched for the family of 10-year-old Leila Rose Golianis, who died unexpectedly after suffering a brain stem hemorrhage caused by an arteriovenous malformation (AVM) rupture.

Leila’s aunt, Vanessa Stein, said the family is raising money to help cover funeral and cremation costs.

“This is something no family ever expects to do for a child,” Stein wrote on the fundraiser page.

The loss comes just two and a half years after Leila’s father died, a tragedy the family was still grieving.

“After losing my brother, her daddy, just 2.5 years ago and feeling an unimaginable pain, I never thought we would lose the precious gift he left us. Leila brought us so much joy. We cherished that piece of my brother we still had here with us,” said Stein. “But deep down, we know they were soulmates. From the moment Leila was born, she was his everything, and he was hers. I believe they simply couldn’t be apart any longer. Now, they are happy and at peace, reunited once again.”

The GoFundMe asks for donations of any amount to help provide Leila with “the beautiful service she deserves.”

Stein also asked for prayers and support from the community.
