Beginning next month, Metrolink is expected to restore trains and adjust schedules on the Antelope Valley Line – which passes through the Santa Clarita Valley – after being taken out of service due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Beginning Monday, April 4, Metrolink is scheduled to reintroduce a total of 26 trains back into their fleet throughout Southern California, including six on the Antelope Valley Line, according to Metrolink officials.

The trains being restored to the AV Line were active prior to the pandemic, according to officials.
With restrictions loosening and more passengers back aboard on the Metrolink, these trains have been restored into service.
Two of the six Metrolink trains restored are scheduled to run between the Via Princessa Station and L.A. Union Station, according to Metrolink officials.
Some Antelope Valley Line train times are also going to be slightly modified.
