For many people, Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year. You get to decorate the house, put on catchy Christmas tunes, wait for Santa Claus to deliver your presents and celebrate the holiday cheer with your close ones. But do you ever wonder what it would be like to have a friendly conversation with Father Christmas himself? If your answer was yes, then we have an amazing solution for you. Introducing Chat with Santa.

What Is Chat With Santa?

Chat with Santa is an AI chat program that aims to answer the question of what it would be like to have a friendly online conversation with the Christmas Legend himself. Santa will respond to numerous questions about the person. Common questions include whether you’ve been naughty or nice, what you want for Christmas, your favorite Christmas movie and your favorite Christmas games.

Chat with Santa was created by Santa Clarita’s Josh Maddux and his team at 95 Visual.

We asked some more out-of-the-box questions, such as if Santa’s ever encountered Krampus, who his parents are, and what his favorite Christmas memory is. His answers, while somewhat beating around the bush, are still adequate for a very new AI. Most questions are answered within a matter of a few seconds. So you won’t be waiting long for those with short attention spans.

Still In Early Development

As we stated earlier, this website is still very early in development, so there are some chinks in the armor that need to be patched. Some questions will not compute with Santa and will reply that he didn’t understand what was being said. This can become very annoying and can definitely take you out of the immersion when talking with Saint Nick.

Overall, Chat with Santa is off to a promising start. While there is a long way to go, the foundation is definitely there. It aims to answer most questions you have about the Christmas Legend himself while also having a friendly conversation with him. It’s a very fast AI with a lot of potential down the road. For those wanting a true online interaction with Santa Claus, your Christmas wish may become true sooner than you think.
