After the sudden passing of her husband, a Santa Clarita restaurant and members of the community are holding a fundraiser in support of Heather Shelofsky, a mother of four children.

On April 14, Santa Clarita resident Alan Shelofsky, 41, died after suffering a sudden major heart attack, his family told KHTS.

Shelofsky is survived by his wife Heather and their four children ages 12,10,8 and 6.

In an effort to assist Heather and her four children in the aftermath of their loss, The Local Pub and Grill has invited members of the community to join the Shelofsky family for a fundraiser held at the restaurant’s Stevenson Ranch location.

The Local will be serving brunch from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and lunch and dinner all day. A portion of all the proceeds will be given to the family.

The event is scheduled to take place on Saturday, June 2 and will feature live music at 2 p.m. and at 8 p.m.

The Local Pub and Grill is located at 26876 The Old Rd, Stevenson Ranch.
