The nonprofit Child Rights and You (CRY) is scheduled to host a kite festival for Santa Clarita residents next month.

“This nonprofit helps underprivileged children in the United States and India in providing health care, education supplies, food and basic needs,” said Varnica Singh, the Los Angeles Action Center lead.
The festival is set to feature food from Bollywood Bytes, a children’s dance performance and raffle prizes, according to event organizers.
The Kite Festival is scheduled to take place on Saturday, Feb. 2 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at West Creek Park, located at 24247 Village Circle Drive in Valencia.
