A teenager was airlifted to the hospital after a dirt bike crash in Saugus.
Around 5:08 p.m. Wednesday, first responders received reports of an injury on Avocado and White Pine Places in Saugus, said Bernard Peters, a dispatch supervisor for the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
“A teenager crashed on a dirt bike and had a head injury,” Peters said.
An ambulance transported the teenager to Pacific Crest PARK to an awaiting helicopter.
“They were taken to a trauma center by the copter,” Peters said.
The exact age of the teen and the extent of their injuries is unknown.
