“Today’s event is really a fun event for the community where you can see we got a lot of wonderful families that get to go be around trucks and helicopters and the idea is to really get people together and it does support the SCV Education Foundation and were so grateful,” said Jim Backer, President of SCV Education Foundation.

This event is to help raise funds for the SCV Education Foundation which helps the different school districts within the Santa Clarita Valley.

At the event, kids of all ages had the opportunity to interact with first responders and see all their modern day specialty equipment.

“It’s such a neat event for the kids because they get to see so many cool things,” said attendee Michaela Delgado.

In years past, other “unique” trucks have been present at the Touch-A-Truck event including construction vehicles and a semi-truck.
