Trevor Bauer Reinstated To Dodgers After Sexual Assault Allegations

Hart High School alum Trevor Bauer was reinstated to the Los Angeles Dodgers after sexual assault claims led to his suspension.

Bauer’s 324-game suspension was reduced to 194 games by an independent arbitrator Thursday afternoon, and he is set to be officially reinstated to the Los Angeles Dodgers today.

The Dodgers have until Jan. 6 to decide if they will release him or add him to the roster.

In a statement, the Dodgers said they would comment on the ruling “as soon as practical.”

Bauer’s legal team released a statement as well.

“While we are pleased that Mr. Bauer has been reinstated immediately, we disagree that any discipline should have been imposed,” said the team. “That said, Mr. Bauer looks forward to his return to the field, where his goal remains to help his team win a World Series.”

In April, Bauer was suspended for two seasons after sexual assault claims were made against him.

A woman said Bauer sodomized her, choked her unconscious and punched her multiple times during two sexual encounters, according to Fox Los Angeles.

Bauer had been on paid leave since July 2021 after the claims were made under Major League Baseball and players union’s sexual assault policy.

  1. How sad.
Hopefully he’ll stay away from women who only want one thing.
We used to have a name for those type of females (notice I didn’t say ladies or women)

    • Their second encounter happened on May 15, after which Kelly said in the court document that she was left with two black eyes, a swollen jaw and cheekbones, 10 scratches on her face, gums bruised black, a bump on the side of her head, a split open upper lip, and bruises on her vagina and butt. Kelly drove to the emergency room and received CT scans, which were clear, according to the after-visit summary she included in her restraining order request. But doctors diagnosed her with acute head injury and assault by manual strangulation, and they found that she had black eyes and ecchymoses (a condition similar to bruising) on her mons pubis, labia, and buttocks, according to medical reports submitted to the court.
