Main Street is getting ready to welcome its newest tenant later this summer, with Rocket Fizz preparing to move from its location at the Westfield Valencia Town Center to Old Town Newhall.
After more than eight years in the Westfield Valencia Town Center, Rocket Fizz is set to move to a new location between 8th and 9th Streets in Newhall.
According to Rocket Fizz Owner Greg Stoddard, the move has been a long time coming, and the new storefront is promising.
“It’s literally the same size as my current location, but Main Street is a better fit for what we do,” said Stoddard. “It’s the type of area that has a lot of foot traffic, people who are out dining multiple nights per week.”
Preparations for the move have been underway for several months, and now most of the wait comes down to paperwork and updating the new building. For fans of the old storefront, Stoddard assured that the same whimsical stock would still be lining the shelves.
“I will be doing much of the same products, and some more fun stuff,” said Stoddard. “Broadening out from more than just the candy and soda we (currently) do over here.”
The new location on Main Street, tucked between Maria Argelia’s Beauty Salon and 8th & Main Hair Lounge, is currently under construction.
Rocket Fizz is set to be moved out of its current location by late July, and is aiming to reopen at the new location by mid-August.

Hopefully it will be close to the movies. That was the main reason we would shop there. Good luck in the new location. We don’t go that way very often.
